What Moolab collects

Moolab does not collect, receive, sell, or share personal data from Papamoo. The app does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party crash reporting SDKs, and it does not require a Papamoo account.

Data stored on your device

Papamoo stores the information you choose to add, including:

• Subscription names, prices, currencies, billing cycles, and payment dates
• Categories, notes, and service icons
• Imported payment images and the selected crop area, when you save them
• App preferences, reminder settings, and cached exchange rates

This information is stored in Papamoo's local app container and shared app-group container so the app, widget, and share extension can work together. It is not transmitted to Moolab.

Camera, Photos, and shared images

Camera access is used only when you choose to photograph payment information. Photo access uses Apple's system picker, so Papamoo receives only the image you select. You can also send a payment image to Papamoo through the iOS share sheet.

Text recognition and payment-detail extraction are performed on your device with Apple system frameworks. Images and recognized text are not uploaded to Moolab or to an external AI service.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, Papamoo schedules payment reminders locally on your device. Subscription details are not sent to a Moolab notification server. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings and reminder timing inside Papamoo.

Exchange-rate service

Papamoo requests current currency rates from ExchangeRate-API at open.er-api.com. The request does not contain your subscription names, prices, notes, images, or other Papamoo content. Like most internet services, ExchangeRate-API may receive technical connection data such as your IP address.

ExchangeRate-API operates independently under its own terms and privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Papamoo keeps subscription records and related source images on your device until you delete the corresponding subscription. Because Moolab does not receive this data, Moolab has no server-side copy to access or delete.

Children’s privacy

Papamoo does not knowingly collect personal information from children. More generally, Moolab does not collect personal data from any Papamoo user.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Papamoo's features or data practices change. The new version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
