SnapDock is a menu bar app that appears with a single shortcut. It automatically shows your running apps, lets you pin the ones you use most, and gives you quick access to launch or quit them anytime.

A note you can skip

I just didn’t want to move my cursor that far.

I almost always work with at least two monitors, and the Dock was rarely where my cursor already was.

So I made SnapDock for myself. One shortcut brings the Dock straight to the cursor, and I figured someone else might find it useful too.

01 / Summon

One shortcut.
Your apps appear.

Press the shortcut and SnapDock appears where you need it. No trip to the edge of the display and no hunting through windows.

02 / Detect

Running apps,
already there.

SnapDock automatically finds the apps currently running on your Mac. The familiar dot shows what is active at a glance.

03 / Keep

Make a running app
a permanent favorite.

Find yourself using an app often? Right-click it and choose Keep in SnapDock. It stays pinned for the next time, even after the app closes.
